Blessed John Church’s bingo game in Nashua, N.H was the scene of an attempted robbery when the volunteer realized the gun the robber was holding was a fake.

According to CBS News Boston, the robbery suspect held the gun to the volunteer’s face and pulled the trigger twice.  When the gun didn’t go off, one of the volunteers stood up and yelled, “‘(expletive) you’re mine now’ and I just went to town on him and I took him out,” said the man.

The man placed the suspect in a head lock and “choked the daylights out of him” when the suspect yelled that he had a bomb.

Undeterred, more volunteers jumped on the man and held him down until police arrived.
